A CHARLIE BLUE... CREW...MAS!

This is NOT the SHOW ORDER ...

As advised, it is the PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to ADVISE the studio NO LATER THAN 11/1 if their student is not participating.  All students are choreographed into all routines, and are part of a team routine and all students matter.

  • The breakdown of which show your child is in, has been forwarded directly to your email on 10/31 and is posted in the studio so that you know what show to purchase tickets for.   

  • 2 Family member tickets for $20.00 are held for each student to be purchase at the studio.   All other tickets are purchased directly through the Kane Center at $10.00 each, prior to the event.  

  • Should your child/children be in two different shows, please contact Ms. Toni for guidance as to the opportunities we provide to parents when they volunteer to help supervise/chaperone classes backstage at the performance.

Participation Requirements:  In order to participate in this performance all students must be registered by November 1st.  This event encompasses both Recreational and Competitive students as well.

 

 

 

WHEN:      SUNDAY AFTERNOON  -- 2 performances

DOORS OPEN:     1/2 hour prior to performance

(FIRST COME FIRST SEAT---NO SEAT SAVING)

WHERE:    KANE CENTER

                     STUART, FLORIDA

COST:     2 Family member tickets for $20.00  (each student is Anticipated for)

ANY ADDITIONAL TICKETS WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THE KANE CENTER

DAY OF THE PERFORMANCE   $15.00 PER PERSON  AT THE DOOR 

***           ANYONE ENTERING MUST HAVE A

                 TICKET, UNLESS SECURED IN A STROLLER.

 

SCHEDULE as to the Show your class will be performing in was SENT VIA EMAIL AND POSTED AT STUDIO by 10/31.

STUDENTS ARRIVE:    

  1.   45 mins.- to an hour  PRIOR to their performance TIME ready except for costume that needs to be received. as described below.

ALL HAIR IS TO BE SLICKED INTO A BUN OR HIGH PONYTAIL.  Makeup for girls is necessary as lighting will be used.  Smoky gray eyes, eyeliner, mascara, some blush and red lipstick is preferred.   

***NO DANGLING EARRINGS, NECKLACES OR BRACELET are to be WORN, FOR SAFETY.

Performance Attire:

RECREATIONAL STUDENTS

  • All students are to wear their True Crew dress code  to the show.  AND BRING BOBBY PINS &  SAFETY PINS TO SECURE ACCESSORIES.

  • Ballet/Lyrical , Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre students are in their respective EMBROIDERED TCDC leotards, suntan tights and required class shoes with names imprinted on the insides of all shoes.  

  • JAZZ 1, 2, 3 & 4 have already been provided with their Charlie Blue costumes FOR JAZZ as they wore them for the additional Holiday performances....THEY MUST BRING THEM WITH THEM.

  • HIP HOP Students Level 1, 2 & 3/4 are to wear their True Crew dress code of Black/White Striped Adidas Type Pants, Black Short Sleeve Dress Code True Crew Shirt, Solid Black socks, Solid Black Sneakers.   YOU WILL NEED TO ACCESSORIZE YOURSELF WITH A WINTER SCARF bring and wear it for your performance .       PLEASE BRING SAFETY PINS so it can be pinned to your shirt.

  • BOYS IN HIP HOP 1 & 2 MAY WEAR A HOLIDAY SHIRT if they wish.  They MUST HAVE A SCARF AS WELL.

  • Students are to bring their shoes,  BOBBY PINS and SAFETY PINS with them in their True Crew dance bags---with name imprinted inside or some where on the bag that they received at registration.  

  • NO OTHER BAGS are to be brought with students.

  • Students WILL BE PROVIDED with any ADDITIONAL COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES for their performance once they SIGN IN  at the performance with their Volunteer Parent at their waiting area. 

  • DROP OFF AND PICK UP:  Once you enter the MAIN ENTRANCE of the Kane Center, proceed to the back of the hall where you will see the SIGNS AND TABLE  for DROP OFF AND PICK UP.

  • At the CONCLUSION OF THE PERFORMANCE, students will LEAVE ALL COSTUMES  AND ACCESSORIES TO BE SIGNED BACK IN that they used for the performances with the Volunteer Parent.   NO STUDENT is permitted to TAKE ANY COSTUME OR ACCESSORIES HOME.

  • Should your student's costume/accessories be removed from the performance location and not signed back in an automatic $50.00 COSTUME FEE will be assessed to your account.

  • Students are NOT to EAT or DRINK anything besides PLAIN WATER, cherrios, saltine crackers or pretzels while in the dressing/waiting room.   In the event any other items are brought in, they will be taken from the student and discarded, DUE to ALLERGY SAFETY.  Please do not allow for  this occur.

  • THE PERFORMANCE will move very quickly, so there is no need for students to bring snacks or activities with them.   A WATER BOTTLE IS RECOMMENDED with water only.  Students are NOT to EAT or DRINK anything besides PLAIN WATER, or possibly cherrios, saltine crackers or pretzels  while in the dressing/waiting room.   In the event any other items are brought in, they will be taken from the student and discarded, DUE to ALLERGY SAFETY.  Please do not allow for  this occur.  True Crew Dance Co. and the performance/auditorium center ARE NOT responsible for any damage, loss or anything further, of any objects your students brings.   

  • AS ALWAYS.... ALL STUDENTS MUST STAY FOR THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE through SIGN OUT after COSTUMES HAVE BEEN signed back in and RETURNED

  • Once ALL COSTUMES have been signed back in and returned, your child's class will be BROUGHT back OUT TO YOU, where you DROPPED OFF YOUR STUDENT,  to be signed out.

  • NO ONE besides VOLUNTEERS are permitted BACK STAGE or in the WAITING AREA at any time.

COMPANY STUDENTS:

  • All female students are to wear their NUDE body suits.  

  • Ballet/Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre students are in their respective EMBROIDERED TCDC leotards, suntan tights and required class shoes with names imprinted on the insides of all shoes.   Company Jazz and Hip Hop girls have already been provided with their Charlie Blue costumes FOR JAZZ and parades as they wore them for the additional Holiday performances....THEY MUST BRING THEM WITH THEM.

  • No other bags are to be brought with students.

  • Students WILL OR HAVE BEEN BE PROVIDED with their COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES for their performance once they SIGN IN  at the performance with their Volunteer Parent at their waiting area.

  • WIDE ANGLE PRODUCTIONS WILL BE ON SITE RECORDING THE SHOW. 

  • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NO ONE ELSE WILL BE PERMITTED TO STAND OR GET OUT OF THEIR SEATS DURING THE SHOW.    

  • VIDEOS CAN BE PRE-ORDERED FOR $20.00 at the FRONT DESK.

VOLUNTEERS:  

BACKSTAGE VOLUNTEERS DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET AND WILL SEE THEIR CHILD PERFORM WHEN THEY CHAPERONE THEIR GROUP.

 

  • VOLUNTEER SIGN UP WILL BEGIN NOVEMBER 1  ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.

  • VOLUNTEERS WILL SIGN STUDENTS IN AND OUT, WITH THE CLASS LIST PROVIDED

  • VOLUNTEERS WILL CHAPERONE THEIR ASSIGNED CLASS, REST ROOM RESPONSIBILITIES, ETC.

  • VOLUNTEERS WILL ARRIVE 1 1/2  HOUR PRIOR TO PERFORMANCES

 

 

 

INFORMATION FROM YEARS PAST...

 

Participation Requirements:  In order to participate in this performance all students must be registered by November 1st.  This event is for both Recreational and Competitive students as well.

 

 

December Gala/Recital True Crew's December Performance...Every year we have a small performance for approximately 300 family and friends to come and see what our student have begun learning in the short period of time from when they began in August through to December.  This performance is  a great way to send off the old year and welcome in the new....
