COMPANY DRESS CODE & ATTENDANCE

 

DRESS CODE AND SHOE REQUIREMENTS...

 

it is the parent/students's RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that the student's name and/or initials are written into all shoes, items belonging to the student.

 

Necessary Shoes:--- Any shoes needed can be obtain through ordering  them at the Studio.    

We place 3 orders per year...

• End of August

• End of October

• End of January

 

Please remember ALL STUDENTS must have the proper shoes by the end of SEPTEMBER.  While waiting for shoes to arrive,  students may participate in socks or bare feet.  

 

After the 1st month, students WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to participate in class without the proper dress code and shoes.

 

OUTSIDE SHOES ARE NOT  PERMITTED TO BE WORN ON THE DANCE AREA OR IN ANY STUDIO!

 

***Please make sure to get the proper name brand and color as shoe styles and colors are very different

 

 

                                     DRESS CODE :

 

GIRLS

Black, Navy or Royal Blue, Grey/Silver or White Leotard

Black ankle or conventible tights FOR EVERY CLASS

Black, Navy or Royal Blue, Grey or White Removable Crepe Ballet Skirt for LYRICAL OR CONTEMPORARY

Black, Navy or Royal Blue, Grey or Silver  fitted short dance Shorts for JAZZ, TAP, MODERN, MUSICAL THEATER ONLY

Black Hip Hop Harem Pants or Jazz Pants MAY BE WORN DURING HIP HOP ONLY

Sports Bras/tops may be worn as long as they are Black, Navy or Royal Blue, Grey/SIlver

ABSOLUTELY....NO SHIRTS ARE TO BE WORN DURING ANY CLASSES

 

ABSOLUTELY...ONLY FULL BODY LEOTARDS ARE TO BE WORN DURING BALLET TECHNIQUE WITH HAIR PULLED INTO A TIGHT SLICK BUN.

 

KNEE PADS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL HIP HOP CLASSES

 

 

THE 1ST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH WILL BE CONSIDERED INDIVIDUALITY WEEK WHERE CO. STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED TO WEAR ANY COLOR THEY DESIRE....HOWEVER....THE REST OF THE DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS REMAIN THE SAME AND TIGHTS MUST STILL BE BLACK....

 

 

BOYS

Black, Blue or Grey Sweatpants or Hip Hop Harem Pants

Black, White, Blue or Grey T Shirt—True Crew Shirt is fine

Black Socks

 

 

 

ATTENDANCE...

 

It is imperative that all students and parents be aware that throughout the season Attendance in class is a definite factor of decline or improvements with skill and ability.

 

Lack of attendance is top priority, AS WE ALL KNOW, and will effect your child's skill level and achievements if they are not in regular attendance.  Dance skill and ability alone will not encourage an adjustment or advancement as the season progresses, just as we experience in our every day lives; commitment, sportsmanship and attendance is just as important.

 

Should it be necessary for a Company student to be late, once they arrive they are to join the class without disruption.  

 

If it is necessary for a Co. student to miss a class, it is their responsibility to get any video/date stamped footage or notes provided, review, practice and know whatever they missed by the next class.   All students are accountable for their on actions and participation within their team.

 

Each dancer must have skill, ability, a hard work ethic, positive attitude, and top notch attendance to move up into a more advance level as we have witnessed over the past years and continue into this incredible season.
